A bountiful harvest!

November 2, 2010

Fall harvest of fresh greens from Nick Blasier.

Nick B, our resident green-thumb, in action (foreground).

In my humble opinion, there is nothing better than fresh greens (collared greens, kale, arugula, spinach, etc) from a local, organic, backyard garden. Nick Blasier of the 0530 Garage Gym Rx class has such a garden. As he cannot eat all of the greens he harvests, he has been kind enough to share the love with the rest of us — truly a gift! Thanks Nick.

That’s an awesome looking pile. I’m glad to share them with someone who appreciates them as much as I do!
